Trail Description 17+ miles of trails on north side of Melvern Lake (35 miles south of Topeka, KS). Day use parking at Crooked Knee Trail Head; primitive camping at Cowboy Camp with horse ties, shower house near; 15 new camping pads with water and electric hookups plus 15 pipe corrals at West Point campground area. Directions 7.5 miles south of Lyndon, KS on US-75, then turn west on state road 278 and go approximately 4.5 miles. Turn left into Eisenhower State Park, and stop at the ranger station before continuing to the campground of your choice
